Our Mission
To bring light to the lives of unwanted and unloved Cats.
Allerton Cat Rescue is a non-profit sanctuary for felines abandoned, mistreated or otherwise between homes. All are looking for a warm, loving home and the means by which to live comfortably until they find one.
Allerton Cat Rescue was founded over 40 years ago by Brenda Satterley, it was formerly based at the Prune Park Inn, Allerton and is now part of her home on Allerton Road. The rescue is run entirely by volunteers, fundraising and donations, the running costs are approximately £1000 for food and litter and a vet bill of around £10,000 per month.
Getting in touch
The best way to get in touch with one of our volunteers is to use our contact form. You can also message us on Facebook.
We share all of the cats that are available for adoption on our Facebook page.
Our adoption process
Our adoption process is simple and straight forward. There will be some checks to complete, along with a £125 adoption fee to be paid. All of the cats come already microchipped and required vaccinations. The fee also helps us to keep our doors open, as well as helping to keep on top of our ever growing vet bills.
